My different models
WSJB RC
This model is a scaled down version of the full size WSJB 300. It is 68cm long and is perfect for prototyping, practising with welding, or simply as a super fun rc hobby project.
WSJB 190
The 190 model is a one seater, and greath fun to drive. It runs best with a 701 or 650 jetski engine. Otherwise, any 2 cilinder engine is about the maximum to fit in the tiny engine bay.
WSJB 300
The 300 model is the perfect 2 seater. When using a SeaDoo Spark 90 propulsion you can easily push the limits on this boat. Also follow my own project to get an idea about building this boat.
Minimum required parts
To get your boat on the water, you need quite a few extra parts and systems. Below you can find a handy checklist for the minimum parts required to build your own Mini Jetboat and get it out on the water.
Hull Parts:
- ‘Wooden Shoe Jetboats’ hull (kit or welded)
- Jet pump intake (or pick one from the shop)
- Flooring
- Seat supports (and seats)
Engine & Jet drive:
- Donor jet ski
- Pump adapter (if required)
- Engine mounts
- Engine room ventilation
- Adapted exhaust system
- Adapted air intake system
- Adapted engine cooling system
Controls:
- Adapted electrical System
- Steering control system
- Battery box
- Battery switch
- Adapted trim lever (if required)
- Adapted throttle lever
Some key notes
– All kits are made of CNC laser cut aluminium.
– Kits need to be welded by yourself, or can be ordered as a pre-welded hull optionally.
– Kits and vessels come as bare-hull and need to be completed with an engine, steering, seating, etc.
– Engines are mostly taken from donor jetski’s, which makes up for a complete drive train in one go.
